Who We Are:
GSA SOAR is a new parent and community-led group created to strengthen connections between George Stevens Academy and the communities across the Blue Hill Peninsula.
SOAR’s mission is to champion students, support teachers, and foster school spirit by serving as a central hub for communication, involvement opportunities, and community-led support for GSA.

Yes. We are currently applying for our 501c(3) status with the state of Maine.

No, we are a community group, and we are not part of the school or the Board of Trustees; however, we work closely with GSA faculty, staff, and leadership.

So far, we are helping with community engagement, enrollment, and athletics, but we hope to build on these efforts in the future.

Absolutely not! If you are an alum, a parent of a an alum, an educator, or just a resident who believes in the future of our community school, we want you to join!
